Those things you put on
Our childhood you took
Those fake smiles you make
What you do when they don't look
My eye is bound to heal
The bruise won't last long
You hide these things
Yet we've been proof all along
You locked up our secrets
Your hiding place too
I know why you do this
You thought they knew
They found out the things
You tried to hide
But it wasn't so fun
When one of us died
The people they cry
They tell us you did us wrong
You beat each one of us
When mommy was gone
