I am ready to die,
I wish to kiss this life good-bye.
When the winged seraph comes from on high,
And wishes to take me to the kingdom in the sky,
Know that, I am ready to die.
I wish to caress teh dark shadows that soothe me,
Dreams that cover my eyes to hide their depravity,
Insidious whipsers tell me that death is nigh,
Know that, I am ready to die.
When faced with judgement day,
Take this tortured soul away.
I am ready to face he who is on high,
Because, I am ready to die.
Please tell me what you think

"When the winged seraph comes from on high,

Those were my favorite lines out of the poem. I would suggest taking out the comma between "that" and "I", I think it would flow better. But what do I know? lol. It's your poem anyway. ^^ Sorry. Heh.
I tend to feel this way quite often. I'm glad I finally found a none-cliche poem about this topic. Very well written! Keep up the good work. -
Very Good poem!
When faced with judgment day,
Take this tortured soul away.
I am ready to face he who is on high,
Because, I am ready to die.
This is awesome!
Great rhyme!

in line six there is a typo, other than that it is darkly written. I am amazed when people are ready to die, as I have not conquered life to even venture death...nicely written
