Misery ~ loathes company

The sun crashes to the earth
as everything dims again
the time between us has grown
no telling how or when

as the the pain begins to swell
the things writhing within the night
spin around in my head
squandering each right

trials become short-lived
and dreams extend to demise
why did it have to be like this
what caused you to constantly lie

broken trust
broken wings
broken hearts
broken things

where to go with my life
surely no one can say
surely no one can tell me
what i should believe today

the lonliness confines me
into this room at dark
the dagger slips from beneath my bed
and instantly there's a spark

the blood rushing from my throat
is a sacred wish from me
a wish so tainted
ever so carefully

the darkness rises above the sky
as a frozen creature's lain dead
she slit her precious throat and
stabbed herself in bed

and now as through the lightness
two angels will appear
it's too bad they didn't save her
due to her anti-religion this year

mom and dad run in
and i'm staring at what was mine
my sister of the darkness
thrown away in time

wondering what it's like
to be alive or dead
another thing crosses
what could have been my head

rocking back and fourth now
on this bench with him
i wonder why she did it
wonder about her bloody skin

we walked through everyone
tears upon their face
a church of lies and bullshit
has become her burial place

we wander through the feilds
each and every day
wondering if this feeling
could ever go away

the loss was so depressing
and the pain would never go
there was one thing too
that we hadn't known

before she killed herself
a person had appeared
before her and us all
and then disappeared

what he had said to her
was it a pitful due
killed her softly in the night
and then strung us up too

far far away
lies two creatures of the night
they killed theirselves for the memories
that hurt them even despite

now you can watch as
all three run and fly
see this is what happens when
people turn truth to a lie.
