A Savior Betrayed.

Come child, and worry not the past of lies,
I am the savior to heed your silent cries.
With agony you grew and shed your heart apart,
and now I’m here with you till we depart.

All our blessings and snow covered shadows,
condemn our most inner dreams to gallows.
Ripped wedding gowns and broken stilettos,
we fall from glory whipped by weeping willows.

Hide your eyes from the night,
let the flame burn still the fright.
Stay your lucid lips from quivering,
warm your shaken heart from shivering.

A pages ink stains of painful memories.
Write the journey of angst’s biographies.
Tear droplets on parchment soak through,
Breath hangs cold in air so smooth.

Take my words of calm tranquility,
rest your weary eyes on me.
Gaze upon a shadow in the sun,
for our last breath has just begun.

Lay your head to the ground,
hear the faint whispers sound?
Spirits call to bring us home.
Alas I fall forever alone.

The saved one was not her,
but she the savior, I concur.
She left me here to live no more,
