Provenience of my Happiness

For as long as the miracle
of my consciousness endures
This life leading wherever it will

I will always know happiness
a smile hiding in my heart
and my soul may forever be still

The petty drama of life
replaces joy with strife
and for relief, my heart does yearn

With the sound of your voice
or sight of your words
my floods of happiness return

In pure desolation
I can find consolation
For I feel joy's sensation
at the mere contemplation
of my happiness' provenience

I don't know what this life will be
But if it were up to me
I'd be reincarnated as a tree
Spending my time, envisaging you
and how much you mean to me

Please tell me what you think

*smiles* to me it felt like you were admiring from afar a beautiful lover, or perhaps even a beautiful flower, something that changes with time yet the beauty of the wonder of it still remains. This was sweetness itself.

    Good content

Initially I was distracted by the errors in spelling, but was able to grasp the content. Otherwise found this to be poetic in nature and whimsical, nice piece.
