Decadant Pleasures

Butterflies flutter aimlessly,
The feeling touching my skin.
Ripping into my flesh,
Another unforgivable sin.

Mindless self indulgence,
A worthless battle I cannot win.
Controlling thoughts and regrets,
A worthless battle fought within.

And when the feeling cuts me deep,
I feel the butterflies once more.
They leave me feeling breathless,
Upon my tinted bedroom floor.

Glitter lipgloss,
Strawberry converse high-tops.
Mindless self indulgence,
A habit I just can't stop.

Watch the lustful colour,
Dripping down my wrists.
Just another teenage suicide,
Just another girl who won't be missed.

And when the butterflies return,
I feel their kiss upon my skin.
This is my mindless self indulgence,
I think I've given in.

very good Caz, I loved the beginning with the butterfly intro, very nice making it seem innocent but then switching gears to darkness.
