What lies beyond
this door that stands before me?
Will she be with me
when I reach the other side?
Will I ever find peace
in this world so torn by war?
I open the door,
undaunted by fear or dispair.
I do it for those who cannot.
I do it to forge a new future.
Peace can be had-
it is just beyond the Gate.
I know we can find it!
Take my hand and we'll go
together.
