All I Can Ask

I inhale your scent, like a sweet spice from the desert.
It reminds me of something, a picture of a trader’s stand, a cobra charmer sitting on a wicker mat. Soothing my spirit, addicting like absinthe.
Your lips on my skin, they remind me of flames. The heat from your body moves across mine with a fiery, soothing passion.
Your eyes reside in a place reminiscent of the burn of ice, countering mine, and balancing in a single glance.
Your body calls to me like a beacon… I can’t pull away. Like a magnet I am drawn to you, my hands, lips, soul unable to resist.
Your breath upon my skin, forming a blanket of warmth, a cover of comfort. I need to be closer to you, somehow, beyond the limits of anything comprehensible.
Hands upon flesh, thought submitting to instinct. Something wonderful between thrashing and caressing, leaving me breathless, my pulse pounding through my veins.
All I want is to be near to you, and that you’ll accept this offering of poetry.

    Yay

Well written, sis. And I know exactly what you're talking about. That wanting to be closer "beyond the limits of anything comprehensible." It's great knowing someone on that level, and it can be even more special with someone you love (in that way).
So, are you going to show him the poem?
