The Tombstone lies befor us
and all our tears are shed
In life he was so glorious
but now our friend is dead
The words we carved into his flagstone
is how we'll remember him to the end
He died in his sleep at home

very very beautiful. this was true, honest, and really got to the reader's heart. my only critique is to edit your typo that's in your first line. anywho, nice job.

not what I was expecting when i read the title, but once I read the contest title, i understood. it was very good actually...simple, sweet, and caring. Kind of scary to design your own, huh? Anyhoo...good job!

This is a very very good job. I love the way that it holds a mixture of sadness that the person is gone, but happiness for what you have shared. Thanks for sharing. Love and Peace, Charlene.

This is a nice way to remember someone. I find it hard to think about death, so I turn it into sick humor. Well wishes for the contest.
