Visitation from Afar

Missing image

I dreamed
I held you in my arms ~
Oh, they've been empty for so long.

You reclined against me
as I stroked your hair,
those silver wings that I adored.

You kissed my mouth
& held me close ~

I swear,
I could feel your warmth,
smell your cologne
wafting around my heart.

We cried with joy
for the gathering

& a profound sense of loss
suddenly passed through us in waves
when Time
wedged its way between us
once more ~

as you drifted away,
I begged you
not to stay away so long
& I awoke in tears.

Hours later,
I told your sister
you'd held me near within this night ~

she gasped,
saying she'd dreamed
she was walking with you ~
she asked you not to walk so fast ~

you laughed,
then faded into the mist
of morning.

I believe you were here
within this house,
dancing with our Souls in silence,
drawn to the ones that love you best.

"I'll be seeing you
in all the old familiar places"
once again, my Love...

    So Beautiful

Can only comment briefly since I am crying my silly eyes out. You really got me with this one. If I ever feel the need to cry, I'll know where to go.
    Simply beautiful.

    "as you drifted away,
    I begged you
not to stay away so long
& I awoke in tears." (Oh my gosh, this got to me. )

" I believe you were here
    within this house,
dancing with our Souls in silence,
drawn to the ones that love you best." ) I really believe this.

Thanks again for sharing this beautiful picture.

So wonderful Wanda...reminded me of the night my mother died....I awoke and went to the living room, when my young niece was sleeping...and she said, "Grandma, came out and said good-bye to me"...and I went back to my Mother;s room and found her cold and gone....but her spirit said good-bye on the way to the next plateau....great write...scribe of kingdom yet to come...

We know. Love is a permanent bond. It is easier to recognize in the flesh, but we lie about it in this reality so it is no surprise that we ignore it when it is outside our normal perceptions. It is still there. We are always touched by it when we want to listen. My heart is full of it and my life is cystalized by all the people, young, old, live, dead who love me. I sometimes am filled by the waterfall over my heart. Love, Tom B.

He would have liked you, Ken...I don't think I've told you that he restored & refinished antiques, primarily furniture...He could make wood sing...an artisan, much like yourself...Thank you, Sweetie...
