Up here on this stage
I am free to express my creativity
Show my wild side
Act like a lunatic.
With you eyes on me I feel open
I feel alive and happy
I'm never afraid up here
Just free to be who ever I please.
You wont judge me
After all its just acting
To you possibly but not to me
Acting is my escape my getaway car.

Wow!!! I love this! I feel the same way about being up on the stage. I feel that eveyone should try their hand at acting, it is a place where anything goes.

Very lovely poem. The stage is very liberating, and so is being in costume where you have the freedom to become another character and step out of society's expectations. It's the freedom we unfortunately don't find in every day life, but the stage is a great place for it.
