Dreary darkness gone away
Cold, bitter days over for a stay
Into bed one night, only to awaken
To how Mother Nature's forces had retaken
The beauty that was once lost
It comes again at no cost
Breathe deep the sweet fragrance in the air
Feel the fresh breeze blowing through your hair
Sun on your face
While picking fresh daffodils for a vase
Thunder rumbles,lightning flashes
But like a pheonix rising out of the ashes
Everything comes to life anew
Colors burst,bright and true
Insects buzz,birds sing
Combining to seranade the welcome spring
