[ Consealing the truth ]

Consealing the truth
The lies building up inside.
Churning her up,
Killing her,
What happens when theres no where else to hide.

Smiles, the things that convince,
The people she's sane.
Even though slowly,
She's falling of the edge,
As the tears fall steady like the rain.

Softy she holds it in her hand.
Perched on her bed, door locked tight.
Only she lies awake.
Late at night.

Looking down she sees old pain.
Running a shaking finger over,
Her pale marked skin.
The dark gives no cover.

To her secret pain.
Her heart has been slain.
So young and easily led.
Too much to learn for an already fucked up head.

Perfect A student,
Who could have predicted,
That the excuses would run out,
And it would all come out,
The wounds she secretly inflicted.

Apple of her parents eye.
A modern day angel.
Literal now... it seems.
Pressure.
Too much.
She said good bye.
