I knew you’d find this letter, I knew it would make you cry,
please don’t ask me why I had to go because I don’t know why.
I didn’t choose to leave you, it’s in His master plan - these things,
it was my time to be with God and earn my angel wings.
I felt that you should know, my dear, I want you to live your life,
to be happy with a loving man who needs a loving wife.
You have so much ahead of you, so much to still accomplish,
if I may please ask this of you, "Be Happy," this is my wish.
Do everything you want to and satisfy all your needs,
dig yourself a garden and plant yourself some seeds.
Don’t let your tears be the water for these seeds you sow,
give your garden patience and watch it bloom and grow.
With every lovely flower that sprouts up from the dirt,
it’s a sign from me to you, to help wash away your hurt.
Each time you smell sweet fragrance, bend down closely as it lures,
for my dear, it’s me there, those are my lips kissing yours.
In the quiet of the morning, while on your garden bench, just sit,
watch those fluttering butterflies and try never to forget...
that I will always love you and I’m forever in your heart,
I’m watching you from Heaven and we will never be apart.
Eternally yours,
Your Husband

Truly heartwarming and touching. If indeed those that have departed were able to send a letter such as this to loved ones, how fewer tears would be shed then----for even though they would be missed , the ones left behind could get comfort from such words and they could go on , never forgetting the love, but knowing that it is okay to move on [that it is not betrayal of the one[s] that are no longer with them]I am sure you put a smile on the face of whomever this was originally intended for

This piece reminds me of that story of the widow recieving the letter on the anniversary of her husbands demise. A beautiful piece full of love and emotion. One or two lines a slight bit off, but, as always, a wonderful write from you. Best of luck in this and all of your endeavors. Hetohke'e *
