Golden rays eroding she stands alone,
Through the roar with a moan.
Endless scurge a road is etched in the gloom.
A misty lihgt errie at loom.
Light Red Cliff...
Rolling flashes and rumbling sky,
Circle smoke, a question
In the captain's face of why...
The boat"Lady Delestra" is telling the tale;
Gone is yesterday in ropes and sails.
Light Red Cliff...
The captain now breaking upon the blackened swell,
A concern in the log book prays to tell.
Precious cargo stowed away,
Sickened sailors their toll to pay.
Light Red Cliff...
Lights of red and green;
Are these not seen?
On deck the crews' eyes are keen.
A blip shows the pilot to fly on white and red;
The bow light is steady ahead.
Light Red Cliff...
After such a vicious night,
The light red cliff as our never failing light;
The "Lady Delesrta" is safe and moored,
Already her cargo is safe in store.
Please tell me what you think

Nice flowing rhymes, beautifully written. Had me on the edge of my seat. Glad she came through unscathed
