Roaring soul as vast as Earth,
And as timeless as the heavens;
Swells with pains of endless births,
For Eternity is the child that she's given.
Caressing Eternity with each wave,
Her ageless energy is a token
Of deep blue love by Providence gave
With fathomless depth bespoken.
Ancient mother created by God;
Since Time was set in motion.
Salt is her body and water her blood,
With God's soul at the heart of the ocean.

i wrote this poem on the way home from australia, where stephen had taken me to the pacific ocean. i was overcome with the endless quality of the sea, and hence this poem was born.

my dearest dee thanks a billion your love is what made the ocean do its bit. you are a very buitiful woman and a great poet and even better you make a fantastic wife.what a pity I did not know you so many years ago however I keep praying to the mightest God lord Jesus our savior that you will be my loveing wife forever and the kids will allways love me like they do now.
