He walks into the black abyss
Of fearful loneliness
Where he finds no peace of mind
Except in those he left behind
His life is like a room stripped bare,
He can do nothing more than stand and stare,
He dares not look back in time,
So fearful of what he’ll find,
He hears voices so sound and sweet,
That keep telling him to give in defeat,
But he is to strong to lose,
The demons he passes only abuse,
Yet he struggles onward,
Through living Hell,
He follows his instinct only toward,
What he thinks is Heaven but he cannot tell.
The only one is which he could safely abide,
Has been washed away by the swift tide,
Yet life fails to stop,
Along with the color of his though,
In his heart he is torn,
But there is no time to mourn.
There are many who see him,
And none who know,
The pain he goes through,
And is yet to go.
His feet burn painful,
But he does not cry,
For this is the tale,
Of a teenage boy.
