How a purpose can change
in the blink of an eye
from being found
to getting lost
from finally being somewhere
right back to nowhere again
How fast life can change
it's scary
but also somehow marvellous...

Just about how your life can change around so suddenly.. it can feel destructive, but if you think about it, it really makes life more interesting if you learn how to deal with it

So incredibly true!! This is a short poem but says so much! "from being somewhere right back to nowhere again" like those lines.. I love to feel and this is making me feel a lot.

Yes, very well said! I totally agree! You never know what tomorrow will bring. Things can change so fast! But I dont think you have said it in a cliche' way at all. I like how you have said so much in a very short verse. How a purpose can change! Like, our purpose or the purpose of our hearts. And yes, it can be scarey, esp. when you add the fact that we never know when our number is up? You got me thinking with this one! ha ha.

Sometimes the shortest pieces of writing can say the most because they leave so much to the readers imagination. I'd say this is the case with what you've written here beacuse it relates so well to the life of most people. Things do change so suddenly and can be scary as well as good.

How succinct but so full of meaning. The poem goes by "in a blink of an eye" but is overflowing with emotion. Another great piece. "from being found to getting lost" is my favorite part I think- it's very memorable. You're writing is so earnest and real...I love it. Keep it up- I'll keep reading!

I think everything I put down is short.. because they are only fragments of my thoughts that i try to put down. I dont change anything afterwards, i put it down the way i feel it. Thank you for your comment!
