Fallen

Missing image
You were the catalyst -
destroying all my hopes and dreams,
to make them crash, hell bent
into the blind hollow
of your egotistic soul.

I was the pretty butterfly
who played around the waterfall of life,
when you claimed me as your lover,
turning to dust
everything around that was alive and whole.

You held open the door,
which I willingly stepped through,
into your disease ridden world.
A tryst that shattered to a million pieces
all that I held true.

Now here I must remain,
a part of your macabre collection.
Entwined and knotted fast
within your tangled tendrils,
pinned out, soul bared,
for all the world to view.

Wow, what can I say but THANK YOU I haven't been on for a while (had a few things to sort out) so this is really nice to come back to. I should be back in the flow of things over the next few days, so I will come over to see what you have been up to, and return this wonderful compliment.
      Thanks again
      Love and Laughter,
      Chrissie
