innocence and wisdom
filtered through the years
awesome sense of freedom
shining through my fears
tell me what you have learned
what brought you to this place
tell me to who you turned
and will I age with lovely grace
swirling through the halls of time
help me to remember
all the times that were sublime
is there still an ember
gentle youth and graceful age
blended now together
speaks now the wistful sage
lightly like the feather

I very much enjoyed this wistful wander into a timeless era of self doubt and query. Beautifully expressed

You have once again written a wonderful piece. Deep imagery embedded throughout. It has an intense feel to it. I wish you the best in the contest. Great job.
