Crying is not to be heard
Anger bottles up inside
Life becomes absurd
Always trying to hide
Break downs come and go
Panic attacks take over
Trying never to let depression show
Can't stand the thought of being sober
Becoming numb to pain
ignoring how you really feel
multiplying problems is all you gain
blocking out what is real
stupid thoughts run through your head
the bitching never stops
always wishing you were dead
and to your knees you drop.
Now asking GOD into your life
And forgiveness for your sins
Mysteriously, an ease in strife
Happiness once again
You can push a mountain
with the faith of a mustard seed
Take a drink of life from the fountain
it's much more than just a good deed
If prayer can work for me,
Then it will work for you.
Just ask God, and you will see
What having faith can do.

OMG! I have been in a relationship where this was it... you did't cry he didn't care and would just make it worse... you shut up or got beat up, it didn't matter if you liked it or not it was his way or his fist in your face, I had panic attacks and was always depressed, though I never did become numb, the pain was always there as long as he was... but when I finally got out numb was all I was because I thought drugs and alcohol and lord forbid but another man could save me could help me and could make him disappear... which he did not try to coe around to much because of him but nothing took away what I had been through like I wanted it too, and nothin would and though i understand that now, I sure tried my best back then! -
