A gentle rain ~ a shower
sent to refresh and clean
with weeping of angels
a way to shed their pain
for all who have suffered
along the way
A magic rainbow ~ arching wide
colors bold in refracted light
air heavy with liquid sunshine
inhaled by all that dare
to walk between the drops
slowly coming to a stop

This is so beautiful. I find rain can bring out so many emotions..depending on what a person is feeling on a rainy day. Good memories surface and sad ones also.

Excellant/intriguing/fun
A very cool write indeed. Brought a smile to my face.
Also reminded me of a very unique experience I once shared with a friend of mine. We were traviling, by car, across Eastern Oregon, rounding a bend in the road, a spectacular sight: From horizon to horizon, one above the other, two full spectrum rainbows, in the misty air. I shall never forget it. Of course, we didn't have a camera. None the less the image is permantly recorded in my mind. I like everything about this poem, just as it is.

Ahhh the beauty after the rain, this can not only be looked at in the nature sort of way, but can aplly almost to anything...never thought of angels weeping when it rains....whata luvly refreshing, crisp, uplifting write....good job, I enjoyed....

Ah, This is the Day here in Washington
Well, you did it again,Sis; wrote another excellent poem. This time, however, you literally capture this day here in Tahuya.
Well, it wasn't raining until just a few minutes ago; literally as you have described so well in this poem! Clouds, random raindrops, liquid sunshine peeking out here and there. Gees, are you just down the street and I just thought you were 2300 miles away?

Love the fall of gentle rain and rainbows, have a thing about them. Always as a boy, tried to reach the end of the rainbow to get that pot of gold.. Never successful, and could not understand why it was so difficult.Lol.

This is beautiful...but in the third line, "a weeping of angels", sounds off to me...maybe, "with weeping of angels", or maybe , "the weeping of angels", just a thought, but it is still beautiful..thanks for sharing
