Okay, it's like this: People have dreams where they fall, and this guy's actually falling. The second meaning is that the guy is commiting suicide, and so the end of his life was what he had dreamt of and longed for.

Wow. I love the dual meaning behind the title.. I thought of the second one right away and never would have thought of the second one until i read your notes. Even though the poem is short, I can picture this all happening so easily, especially with the phrase "tip-topples", which brings up vivid images and isn't overused like some other phrases to describe falling. Great piece.
