She stands in the corner at the party rejected
Hopin' a guy would spot her, want her body connected
She would take off her shirt, but shes hidin' the scars,
'Cause her dad was sold to drugs, beat her mom, and took the car!
She walks across the street, dressed in black, wants a car to hit her
Hopin' to end the life of depression that her parents give her
Steps inside the door, her mom and step dad are fightin'
She tries to ignore them, but their words- they cut like knives in
Her side!
Such a familier pain!
She opens up the journal page is marked with a razor blade!
Her tears begin to fall, as the blood begins to stain!
"Is there any hope at all to get me outta these chains?!"
-----------------------+*+---------------------------------
Jesus! He was cut for you!
Now you don't have to suffer through the hollabalu!
Jesus! He died to be your friend!
I know thats the truth, otherwise this wouldnt be penned!
Jesus - already suffered your pain.
If you let Him take your place, I know you'll never be the same.
This hurt ain't something you have to go through,
'Cause Jesus - He was cut for you!
--------------------------+*+----------------------------------
The nerdy kid, walking, trying to get to classes,
Acne on his face and wide, goofy looking glasses,
Gets made fun of, he don't fit in the masses-
Clashes, 'cause he's lacking in heght!
The "cool" guys tease him 'cause he can't hold a fight.
But little do they know that he's got plans for the night.
That's right. He's going to end his depression-
If only someone told him there's a hope and a light!
Outside of suicide, homocide,
There IS somebody longing to be right by his side!
----------------------------+*+--------------------------------
And that's Jesus! He was mocked for you!
Now you don't have to carry all this hallabalu!
See, Jesus- He wants to be your friend,
He's done it in me and He can do it again!
Jesus - already suffered your pain.
If you let Him take your place, I know you'll never be the same.
This hurt ain't something you have to go through,
'Cause Jesus - He was cut for you!

Author notes
I don't want any comments on this poem about grammer or spelling or rhyme or meter or whatever. this is for people to hear, cuz there is so many kids out there that have no hope. I know, from my own expirience, Jesus is out there and He loves you, no matter what you've done, and He want's to be your best friend!
Please tell me what you think

Wow! That is the only word that can describe this. I can unfortunately relate to the first story about the girl who cuts and who is depressed. It's sad, but there are so many people out there just wanting to be accepted. I really love this poem. It is the best I have read all day!

you are certainly right...jesus will b there ALWAYS...and really thought that the use of exclamation marks was very effective!! (oops, that was a grammar comment...oh well, one can slip i guess..) The emotion was very raw and i could feel the pain as i read every word. Very good!

having been in similar situations... this poem really hit me. i truly enjoyed reading this poem. i also liked the spiritual twist to it. im not a very spiritual person myself... but i like how you conveyed the message of Jesus being able to help you.
