After losing a job
and losing a grandmother
I was in a daze
I was down
No one to turn to.
My second week back
Trying to do my routine
I met you...
You were special
Someone I had just met
and yet felt I could trust
You didn't let me cry on your shoulder
Nor did you comfort me
You did however
Give me a Special Friend
A friend I Can't do without
I felt down, crushed by unpreventable things
Till I met you, just knowing you
Just being around you, lifted me up
Just meeting you helped me stand again
I don't know what I would have done with out you
You did not fill a void, nor patch it up
You replaced it, with hope, love, and joy
I would be lost without you!

It is truly wonderful to have people who don't try to fix us but instead simply are there for us during times that things are just not okay. Well done expression of true friendship.

I think that friends are what makes this life worth living. I'm glad you have a friend who helps you get through whatever life may through at you. A wonderful tribute to them and I hope they have read this because I'm sure they would love to see it. Thanks for entering our contest
