Longing

The Chaos inside,
Never controlled,
Heart removed, and incased in crystal as clear as ice,
Dreams of Redemption, reality of confusion.

Weapons of power, Heart of pain and Chaos.
Fighting for one last chance.
Bursting loose,
Changing me.

When will i win,
A longing for victory,
A victory that comes at a cost.

Perhaps there is light,
Perhaps there is controll,
So until that time I will fight.
So until that time I will fulfill my Longing.

Author notes

So as is apparent (hopefullu) this is about Vincent and the Chaos within him. But its also about the 2 songs that featured as theme tunes of Dirge of Cerberus "Longing" and "Redemtion" (which I made a little tip off to in this poem...and i also wrote another poem about...if you want you can see it here http://allpoetry.com/poem/2690128) both of these were sung by a japanese singer called Gackt but i think they fitted the game Perfectly. well enjoy

    oooooooooh yes i knew this was about my Vincent from the title...have you seen the ending of DoC with Genesis? Gackt actually does his voice, and in the video for Redemption, Gackt is dressed up as Genesis(if you haven't seen it, check it out on youtube, is awesomeness!!!)...*does a little dance* SOOOO HAPPY TO GET A VINCENT!!! THANK YOU!! and I agree that the songs fit the game perfectly...I have both the songs on my computer, and listen to them frequently.
