The sins of men are written upon the face of the waters
and rising hopes must contend with epiphanies of revelation.
For no longer will the Earth erase the footprints of our age.
No longer will she mask the bruises we have left upon her.
But the fate of Earth is not in the balance;
it is only the days of men that sit on the keen edge.
The Earth will move on as a great chariot across the void.
She wonders not the burdensome knowledge of men.
God’s love is so pleasing to the minds of men
because it suffers our pains and loss.
God’s universe carries a plan but does not weep;
nor does it please to stay the whims of chance.
The words of the prophets have told of a hard day.
The wisdom of man has within it a place to heed, but what of the will?
What of the days without love spent so lavishly in wait
while seeking the cause of our Heavens to heal deep wounds.
The sins of mankind are written on the face of the waters
where once the Spirit breathed light unto Life.
A seeming reflection of where we are,
and a prayer unto the wisdom that we may yet find.

Oh you know I just could not pass this one up!
she has tried to show us in many ways the effects we were causing. Written upon the face of the waters not scribed by your prophet hand....Providence smiles upon this piece...as you have given her a voice!
Bravo!

Between you and dear Wanda I grow more envious at each and every piece for you capture the essence in words and take my breath away
