If you can't give it up,
I don't wanna know
Just tell me, say that,
You can give me up instead
That I'm as good as dead
Next to wiser men who,
Have cared too much and
Lost their foolish heads
Lay down beside her
Look at how she stares
Lay down beside her
So pensive, so bare
Tell me you love her
And I'll leave;
It's only fair
Your choices follow you
Up, under and through,
Whether what you say
Is or isn't true,
It's not about what you've said,
But rather, what you do
So run me through
With your poison words
Leave me alone
To lay down beside her
The way she touches you
She lays there beside you
The way I long to
Your life is your choice
I'll dream of the sound
Of your voice..
Lay down beside her..
The way we used to.
Author notes
Again, not an actual experience so much as.. well sort of a dream.
Please tell me what you think

This so vague and delicate, it really works, its more of an echo than a poem, if you know what i mean, its beautiful and eloquent, it reminds me of a jane austen novel for some reason, its so modest and quiet, not sure why, very sureal and obscure, i almost feel as if it was a dream i once had, awesome
