Ethereal beauty, mistress of the stars
Did you journey here from Pluto, Mars?
Time to linger here on earthlings sphere
Before you wing your way so far from here.
In earthly guise you have a mission role
To teach and guide and heal, your given goal.
To spend a day, a month, perhaps a year
Leading by mind and thought, so very clear.
A shining aura follows on where e`re you go
Bathing all around in golden glow.
Angry voices stilled, the josteling crush
As you glide past there comes a sudden hush.
You leave no shadow here upon the ground
Yet there`s a difference when you`re around.
When your time is up you journey on
Leaving us with much to think upon.

I enjoy the use of astronomy, I've always liked the stars, but sadly this piece holds little more then that for me. ~Corey~

Thank you for entering and good luck, I must however ask that you put the option you chose in your author notes.

What a perfectly lovely poem of an angel.Casting no shadow and giving all from the soul of purity.I'd very much like to quote a favorite line. But,I find them all very good and enterwoven to form a piece complete in it's smooth rolling verses.Great job.~Suseann
