beautiful garden of the orient

Missing image
welcome to a serene, stately and harmonious place
a shangri-las for romance, and haven of peace
where a statue of young lovers reveals true amor
amid the centre of a windless, perfect pond
the majestic dragon, wades in the water like nature's supreme deity
neatly arrayed lily pads, float gently, upon the tranquil water's surface
to the east, a red cedar bridge
stretching, leanly, across the shallowest point
fine japanese maple trees
ambush the lovers, from a distance

overhead the clearest, warmest and bluest sky
soars heroically above dwarf conifers
and fearnspray golds adorn the banks
touch a ghost fern, or smell a ripe strand of bamboo
hear, with joy, the blameless silence
a hazel teahouse, and hardwood pavillion, awaits romantic couples
all is peaceful, blessed and calm
experience the heavenly waterfall and rock arrangement
notice the khaki koetsu sode-gaki fence

just here, to the right, in the midday sunlight
are the lovely bonsai trees
tended to so diligently, by master po
proud and skilled gardner, of the modern dynasty
as lovers stroll along, carefree, relaxed
they view the finest water plants
natsume waterbowls,
and copper rain chains
that vertically drop, in tiers, like polished diamonds

a five storey pagoda, equalled only by, lit square yukimi lanterns
are delights for kind eyes and sophisticated souls
unique ornaments of kuan yin, and buddha, laughing, praying
circular granite carved flying stones
label a vibrant pathway around the banks

a contemporary garden, still; by very design
keeps rectangular refined stone slabs
matched only by the beauty of
spherical shrubbery, shaped soothingly in it's light green tone
and so ends your perfect walk in paradise

    Oriental Wonders

Yes, at first I recognised the Oriental theme but it was not until further erading that I found it to be Japan. Never been there but have been several times to Chna and there is a marked similarity though defiitely different.
A beautiful painting of such a pace and the peaceful atmosphere came through even though there were probably thousands within sigh lol But that is Asia... Lots of people.
Your knowledge is more than just cursory though ...
