White painting
Given a clause
Left undone
A moment to pause
Alter an ego
Black if thy will
Perishable package
Eternal conceal
Artist of wonder
People of color
What of the canvas
Left us asunder?

Vivid Write
Excellent take on the prompt.

we are all white canvas when we begin adulthood, fully spread to our best potential, we begin the process of creating a beautiful realm with each stroke of our hearts, sometimes staining the canvas with mistakes made, sometimes tearing the canvas with
evil, and most times creating beautiful works that God admires so much that when the last stroke is complete, he adds us to his gallery above. All of the rest will be sent to a fire sale, where demons cackle over your starving artist images from lives past, as they feed your soul into the flames. Great write.~Artis

Excellent expression of division and very well versed. God Bless.

Short, sharp and immensely thought provoking. The rhyme worked well in this situation to strengthen your words.
Thank you for entering this poem in my contest.
