The bubble is shrinking
it's getting hard to breathe
the safety once felt here
is suddenly suffocating

how ironic it is
that what saves the youth
becomes their worst nightmare
as they age into adults

    nice poem... were you talkin about anything in particular or just different vices? either way its a nice paradox that's true in the lives of many... The first line is my favorite

      Thx for reading. I was talking about different vices as well as my own dilemma with growing up and becoming more independent.
