Pandora's Box

She holds the box tightly
Fearing the hatred held inside
The death caused by its power

The insanity of its victims
Pandora's box was never intended
For human hands to open

Knowing this she holds it
Till blood pours down
Raining from the sky

It  merely opened
The world turned dark
Fear and sin escape
Ripping a hole into
This once beautiful place
Called earth
Eden’s garden shattered
Its residences turned to sin
A world with out love
Without hope emerged

Hatred and anger escape next
She holds the box tighter
The harder she tries
The less human she becomes

She sees the pain she’s caused
Her eyes do not believe
What is happening
The fall from grace
Life lost between
The sin of man

Pandora's box destroyed her home
A gift she once thought
A curse she now knows
A life time of solitude
Holding the box closed

Each second her grasp slipping
Letting out a new plague
On humanity
Until one day
When it will open
The day all humanity
Will cease to exist

    wow

This one gave me chills...for it was so real...
and that is what dark is all about, isn't it? A fear of something that could actually happen...
Ty for entering this beautifully written piece!
