As you Wish

I have a sad tale to tell you. This is no ordinary story as you may have heard before. It begins a long long time ago......in a far away land.

A young woman of the name Danelle was supposed to be a princess but had to slave away for her stepmother, Jenna and her two stepsisters Hilda and Gina. Now you most likely are thinking "Oh I know this story already, why am I reading this again?" but your wrong, like I said before, this is completly different from any other. For you see, Danelle is in love, in love with a stable boy. She does not know his name and all he ever says to her is, "As you wish." in his deep english accent. He has golden brown hair and lovely blue eyes.

One day however, this stable boy was caught stealing food in the local market and was sent to the King. Now the king was not a nice one, as you may have hoped. He was the kind of King who would love any excuse just to hang someone, and this was a perfect time for him to hang another.

The young boy begged to be let go as soon as the guards seezed him but they would not. When Danelle heard of the news of this hanging she ran to the king and pleaded that he was her work boy and she was a princess of a visiting town. The king did not believe her but he did allow her to go see the boy.

"My dear boy!" She cried out as soon as she saw him. Danelle bent down next to him an kissed his cheek. She loved him and he knew it.

"Dear, you must get me out of this thing." He said. calmly. His blue eyes still had a sparkle in them.

Danelle tried eveything she could to get him out, from tugging on  the chains to trying to pick the lock. She finally got him free by finding the hidden key.

"Thank you, thank you!" He said excited. He turned to ran but she stopped him.

"Boy!" She shouted. "You never told me your name." Danelle smiled.

He laughed. "One day I shall return and tell you, then we will be married my girl." He came back and kissed her on the lips. "Until that day my dear." And just like that he vanished.

It was not until three years later she would ever he those words again, "As you wish."

Now the young boy was a man and even more gorgous then before. Danelle saw him and knew it was her beloved stable boy. But something was different....very different.

cinderella, princess bride, Ever After.... i think that the king needs a serious lesson in being an evil overlord if he had hidden keys lying around his dungeon at random...

I liked this piece a lot, because it reminds me of a film I love, The Princess Bride. The words uttered by Westley the farm hand in that film are "As you wish", and it made me think of that as I read it! This has left me wondering what was different about the boy now! I want to know what happens!
