Pure Innocence...

"a little girl is full of innocence.. with no untold confessions, but when that little girl grows older there will grow little things like confessions and guilt."

when a little baby girl is born
there is the smell of innocence
as the little girl grows
she may do things for fun
not understanding that its wrong
when the little girl turns 3
she beings to understand punishment
at her 5th birthday she shall know
'that not everyone in life is perfect'
going on to 10
she does things wrong intentionally
and that’s when
that little pure innocent girl
becomes nothing different
than everyone else

Author notes

i wrote this poem when i was looking threw pictures of me and i came across this picture of me holding up a christmas present infront of the christmas tree when i was about 2.. and it made me think how much i've changed since then and how much i'd give to go back...
but i love this poem because if you really think about it.. its true

Please tell me what you think

its almost sad to think about how innocent we all were as children and than look at us now, judging people because of how they look and how they dress, makes me almost wish i was back in kindergarten when no one cares....lol well oh well this was a great poem!
