He is dying fro the inside out
His soul is bruised, his heart is cracked
The trust was shattered
The wall has fallen
Through his eyes i read words left unspoken
Now a relation ship, left in that summer night...broken
The happiness was snatched from it's keeper
Replaced with a sad dullness as the pain cut deeper
His way out was hiding his feelings
Attempting to let them go
He loved her...She made mistakes
Was this true love on both ends, or unrealistic fate?
Does he play it off?
He gave her his heart
She ripped it out, stomped on it, and then tore it apart
She stole from him something he can never replace
His treasure was saved, then taken away
His WHOLE WORLD, her "one night dates"
Regrets from the past, seap internally...FAST
Into our minds, we let them kill our dreams
Our lives left distorted
With nothing to do but place your head in a pillow and scream
She can't take it back, He knows it...yet tries to deny it
He deserves better, she refuses to let him go
He doesn't want to let those emotios show
But they shine through the windows of his soul
Now exposed to the world,
An open book as they become closer
Four months of pain and passion
Is this the end, or where we begin?
They throw the bottled anger into the ocean
Letting it float away
Remembering to try and forgive, but never forget
Moving on, recreating life, finishing the puzzle
Once again, Two become one
The Two are complete
Proud to have overcome such a sin's defeat.
His soul is bruised, his heart is cracked
The trust was shattered
The wall has fallen
Through his eyes i read words left unspoken

This is truely an awesome write!!!! It's hard to admit that you played a huge part in the break-up of true love, but, this portrays the emotions perfectly for both sides.

Wow!
This was very profound for me, in the fact that my husband of 7 years cheated on me. It was hard, I was very angry, but I had to take stock of our relationship and take responsibility for my part in how things went so wrong that he would end up in that place. We did separate, but I chose to forgive, because I know that we are all capable of making mistakes. Sometimes its harder to forgive ourselves than it is to forgive others. Don't beat yourself up, forgive yourself, learn from your mistakes and move on. =] -
This is truly a tough situation and I think it is a good thing you are admitting to your mistakes to build toward a greater good.
This poem encompassed a lot and seemed a little to direct for me, but I thorougly enjoyed the ending.
Overall it was very well written. -
We all do things we regret and cause us to lose but the secret is to learn from them so to make that loss into something that eventually brings joy and wisdom. Good write and best wishes for the future.. Debby

Take each mistake in life as a stepping stone for learning..Things happen as they are supposed to...You have many years ahead of you, and will continue to make mistakes..Just try and make better choices.
This was written with alot of honesty..Very well done..Writing does help one heal, and I hope you are on the way to healing.
Be well...
