there's fire
in your veins, and
i can feel it when we touch
fingertips ablaze with
the passion that can't be caught
in polaroids;
in that camera you carry
obsessively
lips that twist around
the words of songs, whispering
tunelessly (noiselessly) to
divine intervention, and
all the songs we love to hate,
love to scream, love to
lose ourselves
in.
there's fire
in your veins
i wish you'd set
it free.

You have such amazing talent! Never ceases to amaze me. With this you, I am sure, wrote with a very specific purpose yet the reader can take anything away form it. I don't know about whom this is written but may I echo your words
"there's fire
in your veins
i wish you'd set
it free."

Are you talking about me? Just kidding. Camera obsessed and music nonsense ... fiery veins and all. This is wonderful, it truly is. You deserve a star. No, an entire constellation.

A Good One!
Fire in the veins, Hot Blooded, soul on fire and you are playing with all of them. And your last line..."I wish you'd set it free..." is just perfect.
Saying without saying, implying many things, leaving the reader to create and visualize or imagine just what you might have in mind...and what if makes the reader think/feel.
Well done, again.
