Sorry officer, for driving so fast,
I didn't notice you, as I was going past.
I need to be somewhere, you see,
My wife is in labour, and she needs me.
So to her, I must go,
It's not the time, to be going slow.
Need to comfort, each painful shout,
I want to be there, when the babe comes out.
I don't want my wife, to do it alone,
That's why I'm doing 50, in a 20 zone.
Understand officer, and give back my key,
I should be there, don't you agree?
