Our Only Earth

Silvered-leaves fall with gentle grace
Harsh sunlight breaking through outer space

I cringe to think that our world could be in danger
As He cradles our home like a baby in a manger

The soft winds blow down through the willows
Then suddenly winter turns those wafts to billows

Branches toss in the breeze like hands waving good-bye
The laughter of children floats like the falcons fly

A weather-worn farmer toils away on his farm
Why would anyone want our planet to come to harm?
