I saw a rainbow in a fire.
one can encompass the earth,
the other, destroy it.
simple harmony.
nature allowing two of it's elements
to join in perfect balance.
each one controlled
by the same substance-
the nectar of the earth.
enabling one to exist
causing the other to vanish.
the force of creation was depleted
for one instant.
these could not possibly exist
together
without some kind of energy
entailing a cosmic bond.
so look to the cosmos
oh ye people of freedom
and define harmony
if you can.
if law and order were to
actually exist
this unification would not.
therefore we are correct in thinking
that things aren't quite what they
are meant to be.
what to do.
define ourselves as equals.
invite fire and flow
to sup at one table
and join them there
in one accord.
blindly.
then look to ourselves
and ignite the soul with a fire
encompass the heart with a rainbow
and declare all people
worthy of
equality.
