Le Printemps

L'eau chutes rapide du ciel
Mes yeux sont ouverts pour voir
Le très beau printemps.

The water falls fast from the sky
My eyes are open to see
The very beautiful spring.

Author notes

Une petite poésie en haiku. The english version, of course, has the wrong syllable counts.

    C'est très simple mais jolie!
And that's how a haiku works. In dimple words it captures a precious moment of nature. And I do agree that the french version beings out a much deeper and overwhelming joy.. Une belle poésie.

Beautiful written! The french language gives a lot of times some extra emotion. It sings and the words wave more in the springwind. It is for sure not my strongest language but as an Europian I know some of it. Enough to feel the strenght and beauty of your words. Thank you so much for yoru entry to this contest. Its an perfect fit
