Tell me, babe
why must we live?
We're born, we live, we die
what kind of life is that?
Little moments, [playing on playgrounds
sidewalk chalk, rainbows, kites, laughing]
they make life worth it I suppose
but can you tell me
why
Please tell me what you think

Wow! I really like this... the porpouse of life! questions, why? And you still put a meaning in there "Little moments, [playing on playgrounds
sidewalk chalk, rainbows, kites, laughing]" Those lines are great. The whole idea, and you pull it off so well. Awesome!! Keep up the good work!

We live because we have no other choice, lol, what else is there to fill the time between being born and dying? Time wasters, thats what we are. But at the end, as you rightfully mentioned, we have to hope there are some things, some little moments, that make it all worth it; that make it seem beautiful and something to enjoy (sometimes
). I love the moments you picked out, delicious in their simplicity. I havent seen a kite for AGES. I flew one once, down the canal by me... and I ran with it and my mum chased me because I went too far, and then she fell and broke her leg, lol. Still think she blames me
Great poem! Poignant ending, mmmm *eats it* xxxx

Heh.
My friends and I flew kites up at the park the other day. It was so much fun. I'm supposed to hang out with my friend Mitch, [you know the one that was in jail for a bit there that came home a couple of days ago], and our friend Cory that I work with and one of my best friends, Darsey, and we're supposed to play with some chalk for Cory's birthday and I suppose in celebration of Mitch's bail. should be interesting. :]
Poignant, mmm melikes. :]
