that which the goblet of bitterness hath poured out
can not be washed away
remaining for seasons of dull gray
without hope of spring
dreams begotten of foolishness
while staying close to a pitiful heart
tug at what is known as reality
until madness settles in
faces of friends turn into enemies
perceived as demons on the wind
death be better than a life so lived
smash the chalice in vain
for there is no saving you
all the containers contents
are emptied upon the ground of desolation
the weed garden of the soul
the rival of any biblical hell
