black is pure
and all-accepting
white may be
a house for
all of the colors,
a jail cell
but black
ushers them all inside
(a vortex of welcome)
and makes them a part of itself

I was surprised to see a very different interpretation of black! (otherwise it's mostly about the shadowy mysterious qualities) Good comparison too( "a jail cell" vs. "a vortex of welcome") Good luck for the contest!
