I haven't forgotten.

So easy do my words come now.
For here I sit here and I ponder
You think you can approach my life
and in it you can wander?

The door was closed and not by me.
I left the other side.
But, when you knocked I didn't answer.
You let yourself inside.

So, suddenly, it's all ok.
And, now you think we're friends.
When just about a year ago,
you brought it all to an end.

I don't deny that I've forgiven
and hateful thoughts are gone
But don't expect a welcome mat.
I haven't forgotten the wrong.

Man. This poem sounds a lot like what's happening with an Ex of mine right now. Except right now, I do kind of hate him, and I'm not letting him 'let himself back in' so to speak.

I could really relate to this poem, and I've been having trouble writing a poem like this so I really like it. Excellent job.

Peachy. I am glad someone liked it. LOL. XD I am not sure where it came from. But, like just thinking about how life can change suddenly is a kick in the rear. Soo... you know. !!!
