Leave me longing to hear
From friends asunder that I
Miss, and remind me of when as a child,
Imagining myself lonely
I begged for pen friendship
And first recieved
Letters.

This is my first attempt at a rictameter, thanks to the competition that introduced me to them because I found it a beautiful form to try out!

Penpals and friends whose parents relocate for work or other reasons. Those are probably our first and most memorable letters. This had lovely imagery of years now past, it filled me with some wonderful memories. Thank you for entering and best wishes in the contest. Love and God bless, Joyce
