Scattered Glass

See this beautiful woman?
So fragile
So fair
I see the pain in her eyes
Filled with such a need to comfort
I'm at loss
How can I help something so broken?
Someone so fragile?
This is how her life started
A dirty pink dress
Midnight walks to her bedroom
I wish I wasn't the one looking in
I wish I could help
If I could pick up the missing pieces
To help put her back together, once again

This is very true!!! Never put all ur trust in someone until u know them very well!!! they'll end up ripping u to pieces and then laugh in ur face and just make it worse. This poem relates to me in so many ways right now, please just trust me on this one!!! much love---

Wow. This obviously has a lot of emotion in it. I know the feeling of helplessness as you watch someone else in pain. It always hurts a lot, and you always wish that it wasn't you who had to watch that person suffer.

I absolutely love the title, and I think it fits perfectly with the theme of the piece.

I also really like the free verse: it gives the poem a lot of depth and freedom that anything more structured couldn't have.
    My favorite part is:
How can I help something so broken?
    Someone so fragile?
As I believe it really packs a lot of emotion into so few words.
    Great write Trixie!!
