I've been looking for far too long
and the journey longs to destroy everything I know
I've been a crooked man and I lived a hollow life
That not many people can say they have seen
But you still love me, no matter what I've done
I'm a reckless soul and I don't know how to stop
Only you can save me now
I'm releasing the reins of this pale horse I ride
and allowing you to take control
Through you I am stronger
and without you I am weak
I may stumble along this path
but you are there to catch me when I fall
and you hold my hand as I walk through this world
I am no longer afraid
because I know I'm loved and that you are the one
The one that saved me and became my best friend.

This is such a wonderful prayer that I'm sure many people can relate to (I know I can). Isn't it the most wonderful feeling to know that irregardless of how far you go and how much you screw up, it's never beyond His reach? Rock on, brother! God Bless~

I always love reading prayers people turn into poetry. It shows so much of the heart. I liked this a lot, and a very strong image is present in the line "I'm releasing the reins of this pale horse". Awesome job, glad we have a mutual friend
