Alone he stands
Backed against a wall
Journeying to a land
Where all but the shadows fall
He's thinking of all the pain
Spilling forth over his life
Blood drops pooling as it rains
Torrents of life taking strife
He thinks of his past
Just memories of hurt
that will forever last
Until he's placed in the dirt
He thinks of the darkness
Encompassing his mind
Where in the deepest recess
He looks for a sign
He drops to his knees
And stares at the ground
He whispers his last pleas
And drops without another sound
Because alone he stands

This is really dark and intruiging. Something about it captivated me and I couldn't stop reading it. I could totally feel darkness and pain. Great write, this was very interesting.
