Melancholy (Acrostic)

M is for Melodramatic, which belongs inside my soul
E  for simply Erratic, I'm under no human's control
L for a good solid Listener, I really don't like much to talk
A describes easily Aggravated, at least when called on my walk
N stands as Nobody's person, I like it better that way
C is for Candice, my name, yes, which many can't spell right or say
H for dry Humor in measure, on that I can always depend
O for my Observations, and the words I am willing to lend
L means a Light sense of difference, that in confidence I can possess
Y ends in Yearning, such sadness, in longing that this would regress.

Author notes

This is my actual personality type and I thought it would be fun to make it an acrostic. The melancholy person tends to keep to him/herself but yearns a lot. (Short explanation, there's a lot more to it.) Hope you enjoy.

An interesting expression of your own personality here, wonderfully weaved into an acrostic. I like the message of needing to depend on a sense of humour. well done.

    smooth writing skills

mmm, got me wondering now on feelings and characteristics on them, I may well do one myself, the ones well passed the 12 syllable stage are very diffficult to progress on, as I amble on around 8-11 syllables, and need to be very good when brief,. Lovely melodrama.

I am very familiar with the various personality types. I actually studied them in depth after my children were born in hopes I would have a greater clue on how to be a better parent to them. It's nice to meet you. Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to enter my contest. Good luck!
